Sanctuary Builder Business Philosophy

Founded in 1999 in Chandler, Arizona by John Falcione and Karl Tunberg, Sanctuary Builder was created on three philosophies; exceed industrial quality standards, provide personalized service, and deliver projects to clients on budget and on time. This still holds true today when clients meet with our Project Development team of experts.  Falcione, Sanctuary Builders co-founder and general contractor explains, “I take building someone’s workplace or home very seriously. I believe that when people put their trust in Karl, myself and our company by selecting us as their general contractor, they deserve honesty, integrity and commitment from us.” Fast forward to the present time and you will find that Falcione and Tunberg have grown Sanctuary Builder into something much bigger than originally intended.  “Our company started out with the vision of building beautiful custom homes and neighborhoods for families throughout the valley,” states Tunberg, “as time progressed we realized we had the experience, capacity and team who could develop our business plan into something more.”  Remaining true to the intention of quality construction and business integrity, Sanctuary Builder now serves the Arizona market with a commercial building division, home and office renovation and remodeling division and a full service real estate department. Falcione comments, “I feel that our company has something special to offer. We live in the homes we’ve built, we work in the buildings we’ve remodeled and with that comes great pride in our work.  I wanted to share that gratification with homebuyers, homeowners and our business clientele.”

Expertise is something Falcione and Tunberg offer to our clients.  Combining over 50 years of experience in commercial design and construction, tenant improvements, homebuilding, home and office remodeling and renovations, architectural design, floor plan design, real estate sales, marketing, land development and neighborhood development. Falcione and Tunberg have an extensive background in the real estate, commercial, remodeling and homebuilding industry. “Our experience in all aspects of residential and commercial construction is what I believe makes Sanctuary Builder unique,” says Tunberg. “When we work with our clients we develop a relationship with them and become their construction partner. Our responsibility is to educate and guide them throughout the commercial or luxury homebuilding construction process. Our diverse backgrounds give us the ability to do this effectively and efficiently. Flexibility, innovation and our sincere enjoyment of what we do is fundamentally why we are a successful organization.”
